Train the Trainer First Aid Instructor

Our Train the Trainer First Aid Instructor course is a 5 day course which includes the Level 3 Award in Education and Training This course is ideal for candidates who already have a thorough knowledge of first aid at work.

The 5 day course combines a variety of theories and principles with practical sessions. Candidates attending this course must hold 1 of the following:-

A current HSE Approved or Regulated 3 day first aid at work certificate or
A First Aid at Work Certificate issued by a Voluntary Service Organisation or FPOS Intermediate
Paramedic with current HPC registration
Nurse with current NMC registration
Doctor with current GMC registration

This courses focuses on teaching techniques and although the main topic is first aid we recommend that anyone who is not fully confident in their first aid knowledge attends our first aid at work instructor course and completes the Level 3 Award in Education and Training course online,

We have always included Paediatric First Aid Instructor and AED Instructor as we believe that a First Aid Instructor should have a thorough knowledge of first aid, this also increases the number of courses you can teach.

Course Details

Our courses are held at our training centre in Colchester, Essex. We can provide onsite training for groups of 10 or more persons, for more information please contact Liz on 01206 805380

Candidates receive their Level 3 Award in Education and Training Workbook on the first day of the course, some of the exercises are completed during the class and the rest are completed in the evenings. Candidates must attend all modules of the class to enable them to complete the Level 3 Award in Education and Training course using this option. If for any reason they are late or miss a module the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF ) course can still be completed online through our Virtual Learning Environment.

Please note that candidates must be at least 19 years old on the course start date for Level 3 Award in Education and Training
