Your First Aid Instructor Training Course
If you would like to be able to teach others how to save lives, you can gain the knowledge and confidence to deliver a range of interesting and informative first aid courses when you train with ITG. We have been delivering first aid instructor training for many years and have several different options available for you, which one is most suitable would depend on your current qualifications and experience.
You can join one of our open courses at our Training Centre in Colchester Essex. If you are part of a group who require training we can send an instructor to your premises.

I don't have a current First aid at Work or Regulated Trainer Qualification
I have a regulated trainer qualification
Whichever course you choose, you can be assured that you will receive comprehensive training which will give you more options for the courses you will want to deliver when you have finished your training. We will make sure that you hold all of the qualifications and have the experience and confidence you need to deliver quality first aid training.As soon as your booking has been confirmed you will receive an online video e-learning course covering Paediatric First Aid and AED (Defibrillator) training, these should be completed before you attend your instructor training.
You will receive upon successful completion of your first aid instructor training:-
- TQUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
- ITG First Aid at Work Instructor (Course is endorsed by TQUK)
- Paediatric First Aid Instructor
- AED Instructor
You will also receive a comprehensive instructor manual with your Instructor course.

Train the Trainer - teaching, assessing and quality assurance qualifications.
If you are already delivering training and wish to continue with your teacher training we also offer the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training. The theory is completed online through our Virtual Learning Environment and the practical requirements are met during your delivery of a minimum of 30 hours teaching.
Assessing qualifications are completed online through our Virtual Learning Environment, with the practical assessment modules completed during real training where you assess 2 learners.

We also provide a range of other courses in addition to our first aid instructor training.
